Agadyr Solar Power Plant
The Agadyr project is Suntech’s first project in Kazakhstan. The region’s flat surfaces, arid climate, and excellent light conditions provide the perfect foundation for the generation of solar power. However, the temperate varies by about 80 degrees year-round, and the area is also subject to unstable conditions such as varying degrees of humidity and rainfall. This meant that Suntech’s durable modules were the ideal fit for this project.
- Suntech’s high-power modules in the plant generate power equivalent to the energy consumption by 20,000 households
- It has been reported that all the solar modules in the park are still performing excellently in circuit optimisation and internal loss reduction
